Judo(柔道/유도)The character Ju(柔/유) means “Gentle”, or “soft”, and Do(道/도) means “the way of your life”, all together this means “the Gentle way to use your power” or “living a life with a gentle mind.”

The main techniques of Judo are to throw or takedown one’s opponent to the ground, pinning with a grappling maneuver which immobilizes your opponent and submission by joint locking or by executing a strangling or choking hold
