Great to be in shape! – Are you tired of training yourself at the gym?  Are you bored with repeating the same weight lifting routines and performing the same aerobic workouts each day on cardiovascular machines such as treadmills, stationary bikes, stair climbers, etc.?  Try our Tae Kwon Do programs and you will feel better and become much healthier!!  You will be busy keeping your body active by learning many different martial arts movements and having fun at the same time!  Adult classes are very similar to children’s classes but more focus is given to cardiovascular exercises and progressive stretching.  In Tae Kwon Do the primary focus is on kicking which utilizes the lower body.  Training and strengthening the legs is paramount to Tae Kwon Do.  Our sparring and kicking techniques are constantly strengthening the muscles of the legs while the stances and forms learned strengthen the core muscles in your abdomen and the muscles in your arms – a total body workout!

Self-defense – What are your thoughts on self-defense?  We will instruct you on various techniques from handling yourself in an unexpected dangerous situation to protecting yourself from bodily injuries sustained from falling down unexpectedly, etc.  Tae Kwon Do is ninety percent kicking and through our instruction on these kicking techniques you will acquire very efficient and effective self-defense techniques!

Awesome relief of stress – Do you need somewhere to vent your stress from your work, home, or life? Kicking and punching targets and meditation will help you to better manage your stress and your life!
